Privacy Notices

General Notes

We are pleased about your interest of our website and our products. The protection of your personal data and privacy when visiting our website is very important to us. On this page we would like to take the opportunity to inform you which of your personal data are collected when visiting our webpages and for which purpose they are used.

What are personal data?

Personal data are information which can be used to get knowledge of your personal or factual relations. These data are e.g. your name or your contact data like telephone number, postal address and email address, but can also include data about your current location, bank details or your current IP-address.

The IP-address is a unique address which is assigned to data devices like computers, smart phones or tablets when using the internet. The IP-address is required to send and receive data and enables the communication between the data devices and the internet. Since an IP-address can be traced back to a single person the European Court of Justice ruled that the IP-address must be considered as personal data.

Which data are collected and processed?

Generally, it is possible to visit our website without conveying any personal data, e.g. if you would like to inform yourself about our range of products and services.

On the one hand your personal data are collected in case you send them to us via email. On the other hand – due to technical reasons – data are collected automatically at our access provider when visiting our website. This includes your actual IP-address which is sent among other data from your web browser.

These data are collected and logged for internal, system-oriented, and statistic reasons at our provider when visiting our website. They are stored as so called “server logfiles“. Generally, these are following data:

  • IP-address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the data transmission
  • Name and URL of the transmitted file
  • Total amount of data transmitted
  • Notification of the successful data transmission
  • Source and referrer from which the data access was performed
  • Type of web browser, used operating system of your device and the name of your provider.

Concerning these data, no evaluation of personal data is carried out by us. We reserve the right to hold a statistical evaluation of pseudonymized and anonymous data. Such an evaluation is performed e.g. for security reasons to prevent misuse, or for improvement of the website, and for statistic reasons (e.g. number of visitors and page views).

Access providers are not allowed to store non-anonymous IP-addresses indefinitely. These addresses must be made anonymous or deleted no later than seven days. Excluded are data which are kept for evidence purposes until the final clearance of the particular incident.

E-Mail and Contact Form

There are no contact forms on our webpage. If you send us an email we store the transmitted data. The information that you provide to us in doing so is voluntary and will be protected by us against unauthorized knowledge of third parties in accordance with the state of the art and not passed on without your consent.

We use your data exclusively for purposes of communication, processing enquiries as well as for possible following requests, and to exercise the service and products we offer. Generally, we don’t store personal data longer than required. If the original purpose for the collection of data no longer persists, the data will be locked or deleted according to the legal regulations.

Please notice that unencrypted emails which are send over the internet are not sufficiently protected against unauthorized knowledge by third parties. For confidential information, we recommend communication by post.

Distribution of Personal Data to Third Parties and Third-Party Providers

On principle, a distribution of your personal data to third parties (except the automatic transmission of the IP-address) will not take place prior to your required consent.

Collection of personal data as well as the handover to authorized state institutions and authorities are performed only in the context of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to do so by a court decision. Our employees and persons or companies commissioned by us are obliged to secrecy.

Upon access of a website, IP-addresses are transmitted automatically to the hosting server. A handover of this IP-address to third parties inevitably takes place if a third-party component (e.g. a script, font or other digital resource) is integrated into the website. Which components are integrated into our website is listed in this data privacy statement.

Your Rights regarding your Data

At any time you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, the right to immediate correction, blocking or deletion of this data. If required, please contact the given address at the end of this privacy policy.

Furthermore, you can revoke your consent to the collection and storage of your personal data for the future by us at any time. To do so an informal writing or an email to info(at)weasystec.de is sufficient.

In the case of data protection violation, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about us.
